The Blue Water Bridge international border crossing is a key link between the world's two greatest trading partners. The bridge is centrally located on the eastern border area between Point Edward/Sarnia, Ontario and Port Huron, Michigan.

The Blue Water Bridge is strategically placed on the major trade and transportation corridors linking two major U.S. Interstates, I-69 and I-94 with a major Canadian 400 Series Highway, 402. Highway 402 then merges into Highway 401 at London, Ontario. Highway 401 is the major artery, which runs east and west from Ontario to the Atlantic Provinces. The Canadian 400 Series Highways (402 and 401) are two of the busiest highways in Canada.
